Qubic (QUBIC)

Qubic is an independent Layer 1 blockchain and decentralized computing network focused on combining blockchain infrastructure with artificial intelligence and useful computation.

The project introduces a Useful Proof of Work (uPoW) concept in which computational resources can contribute to AI-related workloads and other useful computations rather than being used solely for traditional hash-based mining.

Qubic uses a quorum-based consensus architecture and a decentralized network of Computors to process transactions, execute smart contracts, and provide computational resources to the ecosystem.

The platform is designed to support smart contracts, AI applications, decentralized computing, and other computationally intensive workloads. Its architecture aims to create an economic connection between network security, computational resources, and useful real-world computation.
