DoolStick

DoolStick is a Polygon-based peer-to-peer trading and escrow platform designed to help two strangers conduct online transactions without relying solely on personal trust.

Its central feature, Safe Trade, allows a buyer and seller to define the terms of a deal and commit collateral through a smart contract. Both participants place something at risk, creating an economic incentive to complete the agreed transaction honestly.

Rather than attempting to determine whether either participant is trustworthy, DoolStick focuses on structuring the agreement so that violating its terms is less attractive than completing it.

The broader ecosystem includes a Global Exchange, shops, transfers, active-contract management, a referral system and a reputation mechanism. Trading activity may contribute to a participant’s reputation within the platform, while CRUT is integrated as its ecosystem token.

DoolStick remains an early-stage platform. Users should independently review its smart contracts, collateral rules and dispute or edge-case handling before committing funds.

The platform is intentionally launching with a single native asset to minimise complexity, strengthen security, and enable a controlled risk-management model. This approach also allows us to partially compensate users in the unlikely event of a critical platform vulnerability.
