Kotova X
A non-custodial crypto swap aggregator that compares third-party providers and routes wallet-to-wallet swaps across multiple networks.
About Kotova X
Kotova X is a non-custodial cryptocurrency swap aggregator operated by the Germany-based Kotova team.
Rather than maintaining a conventional exchange order book or taking long-term custody of customer balances, Kotova X compares swap
offers from independent centralized and decentralized liquidity providers. A transaction is routed to an executing provider, and the purchased
asset is delivered to the wallet address supplied by the user.
The service supports fixed-rate and variable-rate swaps. Fixed-rate orders attempt to preserve the quoted rate when funds arrive within the
permitted deposit window, while the final return from a variable-rate swap can change with market conditions. Kotova states that its service
fee and spread are included in the displayed rate, while blockchain network fees remain separate.
Kotova X launched its first version on 1 March 2026. Its latest public homepage reports support for more than 300 crypto assets across more
than 80 blockchains, with rates compared across more than 10 exchange providers. A major platform update was released on 23 July 2026.
Swaps do not require an account. However, source of fund verification may be requested by certain liquidity providers when a transaction is flagged for suspected fraud, sanctions exposure, legal requirements or other elevated-risk circumstances. Kotova assures that users' funds are not held in customer accounts. However, users remain exposed to the operational, compliance and liquidity policies of whichever third-party provider executes an order.
Kotova is also developing additional products, including Kotova Deal for non-custodial escrow and Kotova Pay for crypto-funded SEPA transfers. These products should be treated as planned services rather than currently established features of the live Kotova X exchange.

Kotova GmbH is based in Hamburg, Germany. Its products are designed around German and EU requirements, but no active CASP licence has been publicly confirmed. The imprint states that the business is not yet entered in the commercial register.
Kotova describes a non-custodial architecture with provider-direct settlement, encrypted communications, DDoS protection, rate limiting, HSM/KMS key management, transaction risk scoring and a DEX-only Freeze Protection routing mode. These controls are self-reported and no public independent security assessment has been confirmed.
Kotova X is a recently launched crypto swap aggregator and depends on independent third-party exchanges and liquidity providers for pricing, order execution and settlement.
Although Kotova describes the service as non-custodial, an executing provider may temporarily hold transaction funds, request identity verification, delay an order, freeze assets or apply its own refund and compliance policies. Kotova states that these third-party procedures may remain outside its control.
Variable-rate swaps can deliver a materially different amount from the initial estimate because of volatility, liquidity conditions and blockchain confirmation times. Fixed-rate orders may also be recalculated or refunded when deposits arrive late or market movement exceeds the provider’s permitted tolerance.
Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Sending an incorrect asset, selecting the wrong network, omitting a required memo, making multiple deposits to a one-time address or sending funds after an order expires may result in loss or require a paid manual recovery.
Kotova’s source code is not publicly available, no independent public security audit has been confirmed, and no active CASP licence has been independently verified. Statements concerning security controls, asset coverage and provider numbers are primarily based on information published by Kotova.
Kotova Deal, Kotova Pay and other announced ecosystem products remain planned or developing services and should not be treated as fully operational features of Kotova X.
Users should review the executing provider, applicable KYC rules, quoted rate type, network selection, deposit instructions and refund conditions before starting a swap.
